Description
“Today life opened inside me like an egg and there inside after considerable digging I found the answer.” So go the first lines of Anne Sexton’s poem “Live.” Eggs, a symbol of womanhood, life, and the fragility of both, are rendered by artist Marcie McGoldrick in rose-hued porcelain.
Porcelain. Large cracked egg is 6″ x 4″ and small cracked egg is 2″ x 1″. Glazed interior and hand-polished and waxed exterior.
